Credits power everything the AI does for you on Buildpad. Credits reflect the AI processing required for each task, so different tasks use different amounts. A normal chat message often uses a fraction of a credit, while a large task like research uses more.
How do I get credits?
You receive a new batch of credits every month with your subscription. During the free trial you receive a smaller amount of credits each day instead. You can also purchase additional credit packs from your dashboard at any time.
Do unused credits roll over?
Yes. Unused credits roll over automatically at the end of each billing cycle as long as you keep an active subscription. Rolled over credits are available for one month. Purchased credits also roll over for one month.
Why is my credit balance lower than I expected?
A large task can take your balance slightly below zero. New credits are always added to your current balance, so a negative balance is deducted from them first.
If you cancel your subscription, unused and rolled over credits expire at the end of your current billing period.
